Felipe Lara

If there is a skateboard photographer who has his roots based pretty much in one city and that city happens to be New York City, there’s just about no way that you can not mention Felipe Lara. He was taking photos of skaters like Mark Gonzalez, Andy Kessler, Quim Cardona, Steve Olson or Steve Rodriguez just to name a few before many who read this even knew what a skateboard is.

His work has been featured in magazines, art shows and even the famous “Full Bleed: New York Skateboard Photography” book from Powerhouse Books (you can still buy it here!). Another great photographer joing the United Skateboard Photography Project, welcome to the project Felipe!

PS: the skater’s names below the pictures will be added in soon!

Also check out his interview from February 2014 with NY Skateboarding!
